Traditional glazing bars, built into the unit
Georgian Bar Glass

Georgian bar glass gives a sealed unit the look of individual small panes divided by glazing bars, without actually cutting the glass into separate pieces. The bar grid sits sealed inside the cavity between the two panes, so the whole unit still performs, seals and insulates as a single piece of glass — you get the traditional appearance with none of the extra joints and draught points that true divided-light glazing would add.
We offer a choice of bar widths and grid patterns to match a period property or a conservation area requirement, and it can be specified on any window or door range in our line-up.

What's included
- Bar grid sealed inside the unit — no extra external joints
- Choice of bar widths to suit period or conservation properties
- Available across our full window and door range
- Same thermal and security performance as a plain sealed unit
- 10-year insurance-backed guarantee against seal failure
